Camping Tent
Having the right camping tent will make all the difference in the world for campers. Tents are designed to withstand certain temperatures and house a certain number of people. Some are constructed to be lightweight for backpackers while others are made to house the whole family, including a common area and a screened porch.
Backpackers need smaller tents that sleep just one or two people. Pop-up designs make set up quick and easy. The poles in the tents are made of lightweight aluminum but are still flexible enough to tolerate mountain winds.
Family tents have separate rooms for the campers to sleep in with a common area in the center. These large tents usually have covered or screened in porches which are a great place to store muddy boots and shoes keeping dirt out of the tent. Family camping tents may be a little more complicated to set up and take down, so it’s a good idea to start setting up the tent first at the camp site while it’s still light out.
